Dr. George D. Wendel, Ph.D. Scholarship
FOR THE 25-26 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Dr. George D. Wendel, Ph.D. Scholarship honors the distinguished career of Dr. Wendel, the founder of the Center for Urban Programs at Saint Louis University, and a distinguished leader in Public Policy studies on both a local and national level. The recipient of the award should be dedicated to Political Science studies and the advancement of dedicated urban service. This scholarship benefits undergraduate students studying Political Science, with an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Preference will be given to a student who attended a Catholic high school. There is also a preference that students use this scholarship for credit internships that are in the public policy/urban planning sphere over the Summer 2026 term.
