James Sebesta S.J. Flight Fee Scholarship
Father James Sebesta started flying when he was fourteen. He entered the preisthood in 1958 and joined Saint Louis University and Parks College in 1994. In 2012 he chose to use the proceeds from the sale of his airplane to provide a scholarship to help students become pilots.
Qualified applicants must be a sophomore, junior or senior (fall) enrolled in the Flight Science program at SLU’s School of Science and Engineering.
FAFSA-eligible students must have a current FAFSA on file with SFS. International student applicants not eligible to complete the FAFSA must demonstrate financial need via the SLU general scholarship application.
