David W. Wagner Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to PA students enrolled in their second semester of study and beyond. Please note, this scholarship is not available to incoming PA students or to those who have previously been awarded the David W. Wagner Scholarship. The David W. Wagner Scholarship is an endowed scholarship honoring David who was a PA graduate in the first Saint Louis University PA cohort (Class of 1971). David was then a member of the PA Program faculty and served as SLU PA Program Director and Department Chair from 1980 until his death in 1993.

David Wagner inspired excellence through his leadership, professionalism, and service. Through contributions from alumni and friends, the David W. Wagner Scholarship Fund was established in 1996. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial need as well as academic and professional potential. Criteria for the scholarship include academic excellence, leadership activities, potential PA profession contributions, and financial need.

The scholarship monies awarded are applied directly toward SLU tuition. Applications are reviewed by the PA Scholarship Committee which includes graduates who were awarded the DWW Scholarship when they were students.
