Saint Louis University School of Medicine Fleur de Lis Scholarship
The Fleur de Lis Scholarship is intended to promote and support highly talented students from St. Louis and the surrounding areas to attend SLU SOM.
Eligibility: Any incoming M1s admitted to SLU SOM who:
1. Attended (for at least 3 years) and graduated high school within 100 miles of the St. Louis area OR
2. Has lived in the St. Louis area for 4 or more years prior to matriculation to medical school.

- A total of $30,000.00 is available to be awarded per year. Awards will renew annually as long as the student remains in good standing (no academic or professional probation).

- Please upload a current curriculum vitae that includes your research and scholarly activity, leadership roles, and service. For leadership roles, please include a sentence describing your responsibility and another sentence describing the impact of your leadership.
- Please explain your personal connection to St. Louis and/or the surrounding communities and how this scholarship will help you contribute to St. Louis and/or its surrounding communities during your time in medical school AND after you graduate from SLU SOM (500 words).
- Please describe a challenge you faced after graduating high school and explain what you learned from this experience (500 words).
- Please answer one of the following:
- a. please share the high school you attended (for at least 3 years), your year of graduation and your address during your time living in the St. Louis area.
- b. please share the address at which you have lived (for 4 years or more) in the St. Louis area.
