Tom and Carol Swiercinsky Term Scholarship

With the cost of education rising, some students do not have the family support to achieve their educational goals and dreams. These students are consistently searching for ways to work, support themselves and pay their tuition, fees and books. If they cannot achieve this, their grades often suffer. Therefore, without assistance, they usually attain a few years of college but then eventually drop out due to lack of funding. This scholarship seeks to alleviate some of that financial burden.

This scholarship supports an undergraduate student at Parks College who also maintains a job during school. Students can be U.S. citizens or international sophomore, junior or senior students. Applicants must have applied for aid through Student Financial Services or through the CSS profile. Students must also provide a pay stub from employment during the school year and have a minimum GPA of 2.25.
